Mesa Arch is Canyonlands National Park’s (Utah) most iconic vistas. The arch is on the edge of a 500-foot cliff, part of a 1,200-foot drop into Buck Canyon. You can get a keyhole view of White Rim country through the arch and a view of Washing Woman Arch in the center of the group of pinnacles. It is an extremely popular photographic place at dawn, where photographers line up shoulder to shoulder to photograph the sun peeking through the arch as it rises over the distant mountains.
