Description
Coming into Vernazza from a hike from high above the costal town, you are greeted with the iconic jumble of colorful houses that makes the Cinque Terre region of Italy so appealing. Vernazza is one of the 5 centuries-old villages that make up the Cinque Terre, on northwest Italy’s rugged Ligurian coast. The colorful houses spill down off the hillsides to create a small man-made canyon consisting of the main street that runs through the town.
