Description
Sometimes the hiking trails in the Cinque Terre Italy region cross a road, and sometimes the road is part of the trail for short distances. This was the case leaving Campiglia and heading for Portovenere where I ran across this bus stop. You know you are on the trail from the trail markers on the light pole. I suppose one could abandon the hike and take the bus to town if you got tired or injured, or if it started to rain. Since none of that was happening I just stopped to admire the kindness of the person who decided that it would be helpful to provide some rest for people waiting for the bus!
