Description

This was perhaps one of the most photographed animals in Yellowstone National Park, at least during the week when I was visiting. There was a bison carcass on one side of the Madison River. Amassed on the opposite side of the river were hordes of humans with cameras and telephoto lenses. The wolf seemed oblivious to the humans, although I’m sure his awareness was more than was evident. He was too busy filling his belly. The humans were totally enthralled.
